👩🏫 A Note from Our Co-op Teacher
As the Co-op teacher at Aubrey Academy, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how powerful these experiences can be. I’ve watched students discover unexpected passions, gain confidence, and form professional relationships that often continue well after the placement ends.
Some of my most memorable moments include hearing students say things like,
“I didn’t think I’d like working in a law office, but now I’m looking into paralegal programs,” or
“My Co-op showed me I actually love working with kids—now I’m thinking about teacher’s college.”
Every placement is unique, but the personal growth and clarity students develop through this program is something I find deeply rewarding. It’s a real game-changer for students figuring out what’s next
📌 Who Can Enroll?
Our Co-op program is open to Grade 11 and 12 students currently working toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) at Aubrey Academy. Students will complete a Pre-Co-op readiness module before beginning their placement to ensure they are prepared to succeed in the workplace.
