This service is for students who have completed secondary school coursework outside of Ontario and would like their prior education reviewed for Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credit equivalency.

As part of the equivalency credit evaluation, Aubrey Academy will:

• Review international or out-of-province transcripts, report cards, and academic records

• Analyze subjects and levels completed in comparison to Ontario curriculum expectations

• Determine which credits can be granted through direct equivalency

• Create or update the student’s Ontario Student Record (OSR)

• Provide a written summary outlining credits granted and next steps toward graduation

This flat-rate fee covers the full academic review and documentation process.

It does not include coursework or additional assessments if required.

In some cases, where prior learning cannot be confirmed through formal schooling alone (such as work or life experience, or when additional assessment is needed for certain international records), PLAR assessment may be required and is charged separately on a per-credit basis.

All credit decisions are made case by case in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines.
