FSF1D - Grade 9 French

This course provides opportunities for students to communicate in French about matters of personal interest and familiar topics, including family, school, food, and everyday life. Students will develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through practical, real world tasks such as introducing themselves, understanding short conversations, reading simple authentic texts, and writing about their own experiences. They will also deepen their understanding of French speaking communities in Canada and around the world, developing the confidence and cultural awareness needed to use French beyond the classroom.
